Hello! I’m Adenike, a Technical Product Manager building fintech and digital commerce products that operate at scale. Over the past four years, I’ve built and scaled products across payments, lending APIs, e-commerce and AI powered platforms. My work spans early-stage 0→1 builds to infrastructure powering over ₦100 trillion in annual transaction value. I create an optimized experience for users and make their day-to-day lives easier while achieving business goals. I’ve managed platforms enabling 50+ million loan disbursements, supporting billions of weekly transactions, and driving up to 30% MOM growth in active users.

What I Do

I build products from concept to scale.

From Africa’s payment infrastructure (Remita) to escrow-based payments (SaviLock), to API-driven marketplaces (Ninthgrid), to B2B/B2C commerce (Pharmarun), every product I’ve worked on is live in the market today and serving real users today and serving billions of real users.

My Product Lens

With a foundation in software development and experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and business, I translate complex technical systems into scalable, revenue-generating products. My technical fluency allows me to engage deeply in API architecture, database structures, and system integrations in ways that influence product decisions and delivery speed.

I use SQL to analyze user behavior, uncover friction points, and identify growth opportunities, turning raw data into strategic decisions that improve retention, conversion, and operational efficiency. Combined with my background in digital marketing, I approach product development with both technical rigor and commercial awareness, aligning user needs, market opportunities, and business outcomes.

I build with intention: validating through user research, prioritizing with data, and iterating through measurable experimentation to drive adoption, revenue growth, and long-term product sustainability.

Beyond The ‘Field’

I have had the opportunity to mentor tech newbies, helping them navigate their new career paths. Through my mentorship community, I have guided numerous Product Managers across the United Kingdom, Nigeria, USA and Canada, many of whom have landed their first tech roles, secured internships and Associate PM roles, built winning portfolios, and grown into confident professionals. I also mentor product managers of a few startups in Nigeria. Witnessing my mentees thrive in their careers is incredibly fulfilling, and I remain committed to paying it forward. The mentorship with Techmom program provides a supportive ecosystem for individuals to grow, learn, and navigate the tech industry. I share some growth tips and my experience being a mom in tech on my social platforms with over 8K audience across platforms (@adenike_techmom on Instagram, TikTok & YouTube). This has not only allowed me to contribute to the growth of others in the tech community but also enhanced my leadership skills.

Managed Products (Payments & E-commerce)

I have managed end-to-end product lifecycles in payments and e-commerce, API / infrastructure and platform products delivering secure, user-friendly, and compliant solutions in fast-paced markets. My work includes defining strategy, guiding development, and integrating third-party platforms while ensuring adherence to industry regulations such as KYC/AML for payments and data privacy standards for e-commerce. I have launched features that streamline transactions, enhance customer trust, and enable businesses to scale through seamless, reliable, and regulation-ready digital experiences.
